My Radio career : My affair with radio started in 1995 from Air FM’s show ‘Street talk10’...After finishing school from Loreto, Lucknow;...I graduated from IT College...Then I came to Delhi to do Mass Communication from MCRC Jamia...During this time I cleared the audition of AIR and thus started my career as Radio jockey...In the year 2001 joined Radio mirchi as programming head and also hosted the show " Mem didi MA LLB "...3 years later I joined RED FM as creative head and also hosted the Breakfast Show -‘Morning No. 1’...I've worked with the likes Deepak Chibber (AIR), Shammi Narang, Amin Sayani, Deepak Chopra, Sharad Dutt, Neerja Guleri, Tapas Sen, Harish Bhimani, Rehan Fazal (BBC) and last but not the least Mark Tully...So, I've also launched a leading Radio Station, Radio Mirchi (Times of India Group) as Programming Head, created amazing brand recall for the fledgling fortunes of Red FM, freelanced as Producer with BBC and other radio stations across the world. Since I've presented, scripted and produced some of the most popular radio shows, I've decided to pen down my learning in a series of 10 books on Radio for Fusion Books called Understanding Radio. I did "9 BAJE KI SETTING" as "TANKA QUEEN" on with BIG FM (Adlabs) in New Delhi a highly popular late night show..NOW I AM WITH RADIO CITY DOING THE MORNING SHOW SHOW...7AM TO 11AM ROZ/DAILY/EVERYDAY....

I proudly state that, liked by many and heard by millions.Its not easy to craft your own style of lingo and formulate it to induce to lots of people. I have my own distinctive way to pronounce colloquial language in very unusual manner. Apart from radio career, I am a very vibrant person in my social activities; I am an active member of several NGO’s working for women empowerment, author of ‘Radio Jockey Handbook: Understanding Radio’ and also planning to write its series. 15-10-2010. I had a chance to listen to the "Simran Topi" today. You called a housewife and acted as if you are the mistress oif her husband. It was a cheap act and cannot be forgotten by hi swife ever. Even in future a small doubt on him will make her use this act as an example and may spoil the family.
Don't do idiotic things just to become famous. I hate this RJ's moneting around the common people in the name of Topi, Bakra and bajao. Do you gys think by telling your name at the end people will e happy that they talked to god?

I used to see that DD ka One Hour LIVE show only for you. You couldn't stop smiling there either. Your cute face, lovely voice and fantastic humor had become the part of my then life. Another question you have asked in another show from the drivers & conductors at "Sarai Kale Khan bus adda" that goes like this..........Iska naam sarai kale khan kyon hai? One of the conductor told you that" madam mane na beda" you give the answer like this "Kale khan ke naam ka ek aadmi yahan pe rehta tha aur usne ek Sarai yahan banwai. isliye.......... After that I was not in India.I heard you after 10 years on 24th Sept. 2011 But you have changed your name from Fiza Khan to simran, but still I can recognize your voice after 10 years. It was a nice experience to see your pictures today on blog spot, however I am your big fan since last 7 years when you were on Red FM 93.5 "Morning Number 1" I used to listen Dhinchak morning during my way to office. Your voice is so sharp, so quete, so crispy, Nobody can copy you specially " hihihahahah" khabsurat, naam badal ke chhappan chhuri gul badan rakh dena"etc etc and so many more comments. I really appreciate your enthusiasm and energy you put into your show and all the efforts you do for women empowerment. Sometime I thought ki koi tumhe kuchh nuksaan na pahucha de itna sab kuchh sunne ke baad. Till this time I had related your face to Divya Dutta, but today now u r a reality I could see u and now onwards my mind can keep your picture instead of her. Your spontaneity is fabulous. The way you pronounce certain words... I had been doing it from my child hood... and the same are been appreciated by family and friends, but I didn't like that.

Today at around 7:45 AM with reference to Sharukh-Wankhede Stadium story you favored Mr Sharukh and said for the guard "do take ka guard". I was surprise to listen these words from you because this is not your approach. Because of celebrity pressure you forget the dignity of labor, you forget the responsibility of the guard, you forget that he stopped Mr Sharukh for not allowing him to go on the field as per the rule. After lots of considerations he was debarred by the Board, not by the Guard. On the same line tomorrow you may say don't punish poor Sanju Baba because he is a celebrity.
Respect the responsible Guard he was doing his duty. And don't say why do they do it with others. Appreciate what he has done.
